SEGUIN and BURLESON – Aviel Webster reached base in all nine of his plate-appearances as the Burleson Elks varsity baseball team swept and outscored the Seguin Cougars 34-2 last week.
The senior center-fielder Webster went 1-for-1 in each game and walked four times in Tuesday’s 22-0 win in Seguin and three times in a 12-2 win in Burleson Friday. He drove in five runs and scored five of his own in the two-game sweep over the Cougars.
