BURLESON — Despite Abram Hicks scoring a game-high 19 points, the Centennial Spartans varsity boys basketball team lost its district home-opener 51-43 to the Mansfield-Summit Jaguars Friday at Centennial High School.
Centennial’s junior guard Hicks led both teams with 19 points and led Centennial with four steals in the loss.
Mansfield-Summit outscored Centennial 29-17 in the second half after Centennial led 26-22 at halftime.
