CLEBURNE – Bailey Lindemuth and Madison Haynes each homered as the Centennial Lady Spartans varsity softball team beat the Cleburne Lady Yellow Jackets 17-1 Tuesday at Centennial High School.

The senior shortstop Lindemuth’s home run was a two-run shot to left field to increase Centennial’s lead to 3-0 in the top of the first. She went 3-for-4 with the home run, three runs scored, three stolen bases and three RBIs, giving her a Centennial-record 182 career-RBIs.

Junior center-fielder Haynes, 3-for-4 with a home run, double, two stolen bases, three RBIs and three runs scored, hit a three-run home run to center field to increase Centennial’s lead to 6-1 in the top of the second inning.
