BURLESON and MANSFIELD – Bailey Lindemuth pitched a five-inning shutout in her record-setting 122nd game for the Centennial Lady Spartans varsity softball team as the Lady Spartans beat the Midlothian-Heritage Lady Jaguars 10-0 Tuesday at Centennial.
The senior pitcher Lindemuth earned the win striking out six batters and surrendering two hits and a walk Tuesday. She went 2-for-4 at the plate with a game-sealing RBI as she broke the record for most varsity games played for the Lady Spartans set by Madi Sue Montgomery (played at Oklahoma State University after graduating from Centennial in 2015).
Lindemuth homered twice as Centennial went on to win all three games last week including a 15-0 victory on freshman pitcher Ava Ellis’s three-inning no-hitter against the Mansfield-Timberview Lady Wolves Saturday at Centennial.
