BURLESON — Burleson police responded to an alleged bomb threat at 12:45 p.m. Thursday at Target.
Police allowed evacuated employees of multiple businesses in the area to resume business after approximately 45 minutes.
Police wouldn’t tell Target employees why they were evacuating them, a Target employee said.
A Burleson police officer told a nearby-business employee the evacuation was due to a fire, a nearby-business employee said.
Office Depot, three stores down from Target in the same building, didn’t evacuate or close.
The Burleson Police Department won’t release any information while the investigation is ongoing.
