MIDLOTHIAN – The Midlothian Heritage Jaguars varsity baseball team walked off on a two-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning to hand the Centennial Spartans their first district-loss of the season Monday at Heritage High School.
One out away from a 3-2 victory, Centennial intentionally walked Heritage’s junior pitcher Carter Rutenbar to load the bases and face senior catcher Roman Carriaga in the bottom of the seventh inning. Carriaga lined a double to right field to drive in two runs and give Heritage the 4-3 walk-off victory.
