CLEBURNE, Texas – The Cleburne Railroaders are in second place in the East Division of the American Association of Professional Baseball after winning five of six games against the Gary SouthShore RailCats last week in Gary, Indiana.
Cleburne is 16-13, two games behind the Milwaukie Milkmen (17-10) for first place in the East.
Kody Bullard (4-0) went 2-0 in two starts last week, striking out 10 batters over 10 and 1/3 innings pitched.Â
Guillermo Quintana hit four 4 home runs in the series, along with nine RBIs as he went 7-for-14 at the plate.Â
Cleburne outscored Gary Southshore 48-33 in the series.Â
Jose Sermo and Hill Alexander each hit two home runs in the series.
Cleburne will start a six-game series against Milwaukie Tuesday at 7:06 p.m. at Le Moderna Field in Cleburne. Cleburne and Milwaukee each hold four-game win streaks and occupy the top two spots in the East Division.
