Dees said he’s very happy for Haas, pointing out that Haas has been with the program for Dees’s entire tenure.
“I’m very proud that [Haas] was hitting them [three-pointers] tonight because he’s been doing good,” Dees said. “I’m very proud. I’ve seen him work. All summer and all spring, he was in the gym working on it, so I’m very happy to see his hard work pay off.”
Dees also said he was very proud of Burleson, which is 3-0 for the first time in Dees’s tenure, for winning despite not playing their “absolute best” and credited the bench for their energy.
