Centennial remained undefeated in its victory over Saginaw Thursday, the Cleburne Railroaders win game one of playoff series and City Council doesn't approve an awning in Old Town
Did they say the city council will speak further on the awning? With no disapproval or approval I’m wondering if they are leaving it in limbo to fall out of sight out of mind. The Brewing company being a space set up for bar / restaurant I would presume If they ever leave another will come in. They already have so much draw to the building. The sky deck and patio. I don’t see how the awning would hurt in any way. Everyone who eats outside and enjoys it HATES those umbrellas restaurants have on their tables they aren’t sturdy, could result in potential collapse and hurt someone, attract homes for bugs. Don’t get me started on the umbrellas some bars put in drinks. Those are the worst. Provide no shade, always poke my eye when I go to take a drink, so flimsy they break almost always same day.

The restaurant now has a chance to bring the request back to council with modifications based on council’s discussion.
