Your efforts and diligence over the past 13 months has not gone unnoticed or unappreciated. You have brought an unbiased look at the inner workings of Burleson city government, informing us of upcoming events, highlighting school sports and many other articles that we have been missing. I have saved many of the recipes, too!

But most important is family first. In our home we have a saying mounted on the wall that reads, ENJOY the little things, for one day you’ll look back and realize they were the BIG things.

The Burleson Buzz and you will be missed

for now but wishing you the best as you take time for yourself and family.

Thanks Cody. Although we’ve only known each other a short period, I could tell how much you were passionate about this endeavor. I can’t wait to see what comes next!

The Burleson Buzz has been a huge success and I have greatly appreciated the time, effort, and energy you have poured into it. I see, first hand, what demand it has put on your personal and family life. I know you have gained knowledge and experience from being an independent journalist and also a small business owner. Endeavors are only failures if you gained nothing. You are a HUGE success! I’m proud to call you my son and can’t wait to see how The Burleson Buzz transforms in the future.

Cody, I appreciate what you have done with the Buzz and what you tried to do for Burleson. The student athletes deserved the public shout outs you gave and the community deserved the info that goes unknown to most of its citizenry. I can understand the family sacrifice has to have been significant given the extra tine it has required to put out scheduled information. Unfortunately, most great things require much from its founders. However, there has to be sustainability. I hope you figure out how that can be done be it advertisers, more subscribers, subsidies or a rich benefactor!! Ann Rose
