Lindemuth does it all as Lady Spartans take game-one of Bi-District Series
BURLESON — Bailey Lindemuth homered, stole a base and pitched a complete game as the Centennial Lady Spartans varsity softball team beat the Richland Lady Royals 2-1 in game-one of the Bi-District Championship Series Thursday at Spartan Softball Field.
The senior starting-pitcher hit a two-run shot to left on the first pitch she saw as she went 3-for-3 at the plate and surrendered one earned run off five hits and no walks and struck out two batters over a complete seven innings pitched.
Lady Spartans head coach Natalie Mullin said Lindemuth played great and that she’s really proud of her.
“[Lindemuth is] just incredible,” Mullin said. “She models just everything — leadership, hard work, everything that every other kid needs.”
