BTX-Mas a success (in my humble opinion)
While the fireworks show was replaced by what I assume is a safer drone show, Burleson’s annual Christmas gathering Saturday was as magical as ever.
I don’t think I’ve ever been part of a group of that many people outside of a professional sporting event. It still somehow felt like a small-town get-together though.

BURLESON — The Burleson Elks varsity basketball team finished in second place in the Venus Invitational tournament over the weekend.
Burleson beat the Polytechnic Parrots, the Maypearl Panthers and Coronado Mustangs before losing to the Palmer Bulldogs in the Venus Invitational tournament final.

The Burleson Lady Elks varsity basketball team went 3-2 in the Lady Elk Invitational and the Centennial Lady Spartans went 2-2 in the Granbury Invitational last week
